The average profitability of parking spaces in 2021 was 8.7% — a slight decrease compared to 2020 (9.9%), but 2% higher than five years ago. Overall, parking profitability in Spain has grown from 6.9% in 2016 to 8.7% in 2021. A year earlier, the indicator almost reached 10%, while in 2021 it barely exceeded 9%.

Parking profitability in Spain in June 2021 is 1.2% lower than in 2020 and 1.8% higher than five years ago (6.9% in 2016), according to a semi-annual study.

“In the second quarter of the year, we observe a slight decrease compared to 2020, although profitability remains high. This decrease is explained by the slowdown in rental rate growth for parking spaces, which has been observed for some time,” — María Matos, Research Director and official representative of Fotocasa.
