Solvia, a company specializing in real estate services, has launched the “Plots that become homes” campaign, putting nearly 600 land plots for individual residential construction on sale.

Single-family homes - a growing trend

The average price of these plots is 30,000 euros with a building area of 500 square meters. They are located predominantly in the Valencian Community (260 plots), Catalonia (100), Castile-La Mancha (80) and Castile and León (60). The provinces of Castellón, Guadalajara, Burgos, Tarragona, Barcelona, Girona and Toledo make the largest contribution to the campaign.

When analyzing prices, Castile and León is the autonomous community with the cheapest plots, averaging 15,000 euros. At the provincial level, Guadalajara and Burgos lower this bar to 8,000 and 10,000 euros respectively.

The volume of transactions with this type of real estate increased by 78% in June compared to the same month in 2020. According to the Association of Notaries, prices also increased by 16.5%. Despite this data, the price of construction land decreased by 17% in the first quarter compared to the same quarter last year.

The number of new permits for individual home construction increased by 37% from January to May this year. This indicator is also 15% higher than the pre-pandemic 2019.
