The 175 areas of Spain where housing is already at historic highs

Although most areas of Spain are still far from reaching historic highs, there are municipalities in which housing is currently at record highs
The Bank of Spain has published its financial stability report, in which it analyses property prices. Although transactions have bounced back strongly in recent months, neither mortgages, prices, new building permits nor employment in construction are anywhere close to those of 2007.

However, the Spanish real estate market is made up of thousands of small micro-markets in which the data reflect their own reality. We can find that in the same neighbourhood, the price of a house in one street is rising at one rate, and in a parallel street it is rising at a different pace.
