Solvia puts 600 plots of land for self-development up for sale

The real estate services company Solvia has launched the campaign 'Plots that become homes', which places nearly 600 plots of land for residential self-development.
Single-family homes, a growing trend
The average price of these plots is € 30,000 and a buildable area of 500 square metres. These are mainly located in the Valencian Community (260 plots), Catalonia (100), Castilla-La Mancha (80) and Castilla y León (60). The provinces of Castellón, Guadalajara, Burgos, Tarragona, Barcelona, Girona and Toledo are the ones contributing the most to the campaign.
Analysing prices, Castilla y León is the autonomous community with the cheapest plots of land, € 15,000 on average. At a provincial level, Guadalajara and Burgos bring this figure down to €8,000 and €10,000, respectively.

Transactions involving this type of property increased by 78% in June, compared to the same month in 2020. According to the Association of Notaries, prices also increased by 16.5%. Despite this news, the price of land for development fell by 17% in the first quarter, compared to the same quarter last year.
The number of new building permits for single-family homes rose by 37% from January to May this year. This figure is also 15% above the pre-pandemic year of 2019.
