Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, which landed in Spain in 2019, has made the Spanish market a priority in its expansion and announced the opening of 40 new offices over the next ten years by purchasing the agencies already in operation.
The real estate division of Warren Buffett, with 1,500 offices and over 50,000 agents worldwide, will focus its growth in Spain on the Mediterranean coast, Balearic and Canary Islands through the acquisition of agencies already in operation, with "expert knowledge of the local market and that share the company's values".

The real estate company, which achieved 35% growth last year, forecasts a 30% increase in turnover by the end of 2021.
Bruno Rabassa, CEO and founder of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in Spain, says that the pandemic has changed social and work habits.
"We spend much more time in our homes than before the arrival of Covid-19, which has been key for Spanish citizens to discover the shortcomings of their homes and make the decision to change", adds the executive.
